  Tom and Vern run a fabulous gym. They are so patient, knowledgeable, passionate and willing to help. When I walked into TFW Darwin a year ago I am sure these guys thought they had found the most uncoordinated person in Australia. But with their help I have become fitter, leaner, stronger and more coordinated. I have also made some great friends. But the best thing is they have proved to me girls should lift weights.

  I achieved my goal and beyond! Thanks to Tom and all the very friendly trainers. I would recommend this gym anyone who struggles with self motivation and new to strength training.
  
  Also, new admin staff are very solution focussed and helpful.

  Having just moved to Darwin I was looking for my new regular gym. I was excited to check out TFW and the physical gym itself does not disappoint. I wasn't a big fan of the owner (gave me the takes himself too seriously vibe) but thats a personal view and the members were definitely friendly. I didn't have a good experience sadly. When you sign up for a trial you sign a long document that states you'll roll into a membership and you give your bank details, unless you email them to give them notice. This didn't sit right with me so I withheld my bank details and emailed them to say I will only be trialling with no membership to be started until I let them know. Lots of emails, face to face chat and phone calls from myself and the gym that this was not going to be a problem. I informed them I joined another gym and passed on my thanks and feedback, however now I am receiving emails that I owe them money (nobody has noticed me not being there for weeks! Not a great sign if I was meant to be a member). They are a business but they need to change this approach to new members. Also, the warm up is synchronised star jumps (yes-thats right you heard it!) not specific to exercises done on the day and puts the fear into most women who have had a baby. My advice is to lay off new members or you'll scare them off and shake up that warmup, $55/week needs more! Proceed with caution...

  Hands down best “gym club” experience you’ll get. The Semi Private Personal Training/Group fitness TFW provides is its cincher over other gyms. Training in a small group environments, your form
  is observed and getting it right is their priority. You get stronger, and better at it. Technique is everything, but it’s all done within your ability - which improves. Take advantage of the free week trial if its on offer. Plus the crew that attend are also good people.

  The best gym in Darwin. Definitely shows result and teaches the right form for any exercise. Great friendly trainers and gym members.
