  I stayed in this hostel for one week just because I have their membership.
  
  The 1st day, I had to inform the reception that my room wasn't clean as underneath the bed was full of dirt and rubbish.
  The next day, I had to go back to tell them that it hasn't been done, even after the cleaner got in the room in the morning, and I was told that I should have mentionned it in the morning ! No apologise or whatever... It was my fault cause I told them too late, what a joke.
  
  They have backpackers working in housekeeping who just don't care about the cleanliness of the room. When I asked the girl who emptied the bin and left the room pretending that it was clean why she didn't vacuum, wipe the floor and clean the cabin, she said that they didn't have a vaccum for the 3rd floor but for the ground floor only as people were paying more money. Well, Melaleuca is not free to stay so I was expecting a bit of respect.
  Really disappointed by the staff attitude and aptitude to resolve those kind of problem.
  
  Also, it's a busy place with only one "receptionist" at the time... They were definitely a lack of staff.
  
  Lucky you if you find a stove working in the kitchen even if they is many of them...
  
  Only good point is the location and the frew wifi in the room if you're a member.
  
  Having stayed in many YHA before, I wouldn't stay there again.
